  6. Can I submit applications online? Yes, for certain risks.
  7. Where can I obtain supplemental applications? Many are available on our website under the Applications tab. Contact underwriting for any not found there.
  8. Can Heritage offer products outside of TX, OK, AR & WA?  Currently Heritage is only licensed in those states.  However, if you have a risk or program you would like Heritage to entertain elsewhere, please don't hesitate to contact us.  We have the ability to add additional states under the appropriate circumstances.
  9. Does Heritage offer Auto insurance? Yes, on a very limited basis. We currently can provide surplus lines, excess auto liability for hard to place, small to medium fleets. We can also consider auto along with package submissions for some industries such as mining, oil & gas (surplus market only), etc.  We have a market that will consider unsupported auto with at least 25% of operations coming from hazardous materials.
  10. Does Heritage offer Property insurance? Our property appetite is limited and typically has to be paired with liability coverage.  We can often package property on bars/restaurants, on certain contractor risks and can offer BOP products for certain risks.
  11. Does Heritage offer Inland Marine/Equipment insurance? Yes, we have markets that will write inland marine including equipment floaters, property floaters and builders risk.
  12. Does Heritage offer Umbrella liability? Yes, we have more than one market that will write excess & umbrella over multiple carriers & risk types on both admitted & surplus paper.
  13. Is there a volume commitment to contract with Heritage? No.
  14. Will a marketing representative visit my office? No.
  15. Whats the status of Freestone Insurance?  On 8/15/14 Freestone was ordered into liquidation by the Delaware Department of Insurance.  All policies on Freestone paper, in place as of that date were cancelled effective 9/14/14, 12:01am.  This did not apply to coverage written with Accident Insurance Co or any other carrier contracted with Heritage.  All claims for restitution or reimbursement had to be made to Freestone's receiver by 12/31/15.  Any claim for defense or payment received after that date can be denied.  More information can be found at: www.delawareinsurance.gov/departments/berg/rehab_bureau.shtml.  Additionally, the Texas guaranty fund does provide some protection to Texas policyholders and additional information can be found at: www.tpciga.org.  A copy of the injunction and liquidation order can be found here
